Grill Cook

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Canteen. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner, following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service and is responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information and concerns to supervisor.

• Previous customer service and grill cook experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
