">Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, discount programs, FSA, identity theft protection, and legal aid.
">Job Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee
- One year of experience in a medical office environment
- Competence in using equipment such as Glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, stethoscope, audio scope, business phone, and various oral and injectable medications
Responsibilities
">Your responsibilities will include:
">- Accurately recording patient's medical history and vital signs
- Giving patients immunizations and injections as appropriate
- Counseling patients on health-related issues
- Ordering and maintaining clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals
- Coordinating referrals to other medical services
- Securing consultations and specialists
- Triage phone calls and addresses patient portal messages
- Obtaining prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing
- Assisting physician with med/surg procedures
- Maintaining quality assurance for office lab
- Observing universal precautions
- Observing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Coordinating with pharmacies to ensure patients have adequate supplies of medicine
