Surgical Technician Job Description

TLC Nursing Associates Inc is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Surgical Instrumentation: Gather and organize surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
  • Patient Care: Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with their preparation for surgery.
  • Operating Room Environment: Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgery, ensuring the safety of patients and surgical teams.
  • Post-Operative Procedures: Assist with post-operative care, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
