We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Oak Hollow at Georgetown Rehabilitation Center, LLC. As a key member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work closely with residents and patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote healing, restore function, and improve overall well-being.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy, as well as one year of clinical experience and a current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the State's Board of Allied Health Professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat residents and patients with physical disabilities, utilizing various forms of treatment such as exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage, and other modalities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing.
- Administer and interpret tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, respiratory, and circulatory efficiency, providing valuable insights into each patient's condition.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each resident, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the safe use of wheelchairs, braces, canes, crutches, and other assistive devices, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress, and outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Conduct thorough home assessments to guarantee the safe discharge of residents back to their communities, promoting continuity of care and minimizing readmissions.
- Prepare and complete required documentation and reports in accordance with company policies and relevant state and federal regulations.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
