Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated CDL A Warehouse Associate to assist with various warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trailers, and managing inventory.

About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in logistics and inventory management, while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with shipping, receiving, unloading, and loading of trailers.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory control and other general warehouse duties.
  • Trailers Movement: Move trailers in and out of the docks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. A High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
  2. A valid CDL Class A license is required.
  3. At least one year of warehouse experience is necessary; Moving & Storage industry experience is highly valued.
  4. Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
  5. Experience in the safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet pickers, and other material handling equipment is required.
  6. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is vital.
  7. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are necessary.
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills are expected.
  9. Candidates must be willing and able to pass DOT physical, criminal, and MVR background checks.
  10. Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
  11. Must be able and willing to perform job functions with temperature extremes.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk on non-forgiving surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal (to include fiberglass ramps placed on a 30-degree angle).
  • Use fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, crawl, and climb stairs.
  • Occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 75 pounds without mechanical aid.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and accurately read written and computer-generated information in English.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather environments (both climate-controlled warehouse and outdoors in all-weather environments and conditions).
