We are seeking a highly skilled Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in assisting cardiologists with invasive procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist cardiologists with all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures, including scrubbing and gowning for surgery.
- Perform a variety of specialized and complex invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepare patients and assist in monitoring their condition during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- RCIS/RCES (CCI) or CI (ARRT) certification preferred.
- BLS/ACLS Required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to recognize normal and abnormal ECG rhythms, ischemia, and infarction.
- Basic concepts in aseptic technique.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Positive team player with both team-building and leadership skills.
- Critical thinking aptitude.
- Mechanical/mathematical aptitude needed for calibration and operation of equipment.
- Ability to interpret medical technology.
- Knowledge of potential radiation hazards and appropriate safety practices and procedures.
- Manual dexterity to assist during invasive procedures.
- Analytical and clinical ability to monitor patient condition during cardiac procedure.
