Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of surveyors to ensure they have the necessary tools and expertise to complete projects efficiently.
- Develop and implement surveying processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure surveying data is accurate and meets project requirements.
- Manage project budgets and ensure costs are tracked and funds are used efficiently.
- Supervise and provide guidance to field and office staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate with clients to confirm project status and provide updates on any changes or issues.
- Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Research and design methods for surveying processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- 10 years of experience as a licensed surveyor.
- Working knowledge of GPS and CAD software.
- Aptitude in math and problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Professional Land Surveying License.
- Ability to regularly work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to travel frequently and work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
- Ability to lift equipment or objects weighing 50 to 75 pounds.
