Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Assembly Technicians to join our team at Thompson First Group in Cinnaminson, NJ. This contract-to-hire position offers a competitive salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per year.

Candidates with experience working with power tools, grinders, impact guns, and circle saws are encouraged to apply.

  • Safety Protocols: Identify and correct safety hazards to prevent accidents.
  • Cost Efficiency: Pursue cost reduction opportunities and improve efficiency/profit.
  • Quality Management: Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Client Quality Policy.
Responsibilities

Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

Verify specifications by measuring completed component.

Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Lift production objects of up to 50 lbs.

Perform other duties as assigned.
