Job Summary:

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Patient Care Coordinator (RN-PCC) in our Post Partum Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide care to patients and their families, directing and supervising nursing care provided by other team members.
• Assess, prescribe, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the nursing care of patients, prioritizing their needs and providing leadership to the patient care team.

Requirements:

• Current Ohio RN licensure and BSN degree required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
• Ability to assess and prioritize patient needs, making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a maternal health setting, with a focus on post partum care and patient education.
