Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a group of patients assigned to the nurse, based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse's competencies.
- Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification.
- AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire.
- AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification for NICU- Level 2 Nursery within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in acute care, preferably in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU.
