Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of our organization, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, developing product-line profitability analyses, and collaborating with the business to drive accountability for budget and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Complete the month-end close process by recording journal entries, performing G/L account reconciliations, and consolidating multiple entity results.
  • Product-Line Analysis: Develop and explain product-line profitability and costing analyses to support business decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the business to drive accountability for budget and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Audit and Tax Preparation: Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in cost accounting and ERP implementation.
  • Skills: Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables, SUMIF, filter/sort, and data dumps. Experience managing multiple facilities and consolidations/eliminations is preferred.
