Location:
This role involves travel to multiple healthcare facilities as needed, ensuring comprehensive coverage and support for our patients.
Work Schedule:
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility in start times based on the specific location's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Traveling Family Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Administering prescribed therapies and medications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and documenting findings accurately in medical records.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to communicate significant patient observations and changes in condition.
- Maintaining strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Providing education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards.
- Ensuring all medication orders are accurate and up-to-date prior to administration.
- Offering clinical support during staff absences and assisting with new market initiatives as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in Nursing with a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
- A valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Experience with intravenous therapies is essential.
- Multi-state licensure is required for providing services across different states.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in infusion therapy and IV insertion.
- Background in specialty areas such as family medicine or internal medicine.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
