Key Responsibilities:
  • Leasing and Marketing: Monitor property websites for accuracy, maintain leasing calendars, show apartments to prospective renters, and network with social service providers to update waitlists.
  • Move-In: Promote a positive new resident experience, schedule appointments for new residents, and orient them to the building and community.
  • Move-Out/Apartment Turnover: Obtain notice to vacate, document relevant reasons, and collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to ensure unit availability dates and pricing are accurately posted.
  • Resident Relations: Answer resident phone calls, maintain site office hours, host community events, and draft newsletters to inform and direct resident behavior.
  • Building Services: Walk the property daily, manage janitorial staff, ensure life and safety equipment is up to date, and work with the Maintenance Team to ensure mechanical systems are operational.
  • Administration: Approve invoices, submit for timely payment, and keep the work area in good order.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of property management principles. Assignment and Performance of Work: Assignments of work will be received verbally and in writing from the Portfolio Manager. The Site Manager is expected to assist in organizing the operations of the development and complete required tasks without regular, specific instructions.

Hours: The Site Manager is expected to work 20 hours a week, office hours as set by the Portfolio Manager, which may include weekends and appointments.
