Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida, CO. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Outpatient Rehab Clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Examining Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Designing and Implementing Therapeutic Interventions: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their physical therapy goals.
  • Preventing Injury and Engaging in Consultation, Education, and Research: Stay up-to-date on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices to provide the best possible care for our patients.
  • Maintaining Patient Records: Accurately document patient progress and treatment plans to ensure seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participating in Discharge Planning: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth transition for patients when they are discharged from our care.
  • Providing Supervision and Delegation: Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants and aides to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: We require a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Active License in the State of Colorado: A valid and active license to practice physical therapy in the state of Colorado is required.
  • Graduation from an AMA-APTA Approved School of Physical Therapy: We require a degree from an accredited physical therapy program to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Membership or Eligibility for Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy: We value professional development and require membership or eligibility for membership in a reputable physical therapy organization.
Schedule Information
  • Shift: Our Physical Therapist will work a 4/10 hour day schedule, with working days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • Working Hours: The working hours will be from 7:15 AM to 5:45 PM, with a half-hour lunch break.
