We are seeking a dedicated Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to enhance our dynamic team at Knowhirematch, a premier tier one supplier to Honda. This position offers the chance to shape safety protocols and environmental strategies, ensuring we lead the industry in workplace safety and sustainability.
Your Impact- Develop and execute EHS programs, aligning with our goal of achieving World Class EHS Performance.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards and policies.
- Lead initiatives in areas such as hazard communication, emergency response, and sustainability efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement by conducting thorough investigations and analyses to prevent future incidents.
- Engage in comprehensive compliance reporting to various stakeholders, including federal and state entities.
We need a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related field, and at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. A deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory requirements is essential. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are also required.
Preferred Qualifications- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar.
- Experience with EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Previous participation in OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
