Your Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in our interdisciplinary team, utilizing your specialized skills to assist patients in their recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
- Delivering care in line with physician directives and established care plans
- Evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusting plans to meet rehabilitation goals
- Planning for patient discharge and ensuring smooth transitions
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
- Engaging in performance improvement initiatives and program development
- Contributing to budget planning to enhance service efficiency
- Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility for ASHA Clinical Fellowship
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure
- A current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
