Practice Overview

Our Pediatrician will be based in Alpena, Michigan, a wonderful place to live and work, offering a great quality of life and a strong sense of community.

Requirements
  • You must have completed a residency program in Pediatrics approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association.
  • New graduates must provide a residency training log to document their experience, while established Pediatricians must demonstrate that they have provided care to at least 24 patients in the past 12 months.
  • You must be board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics/American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics or the equivalent board in another country recognized by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but have completed their residency or fellowship training within the last five years may be eligible for Medical Staff appointment, provided they achieve board certification within five years and maintain it to the extent required by the applicable specialty/subspecialty board.
