Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Interior Specialist - Decorative Finishes Expert to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves performing decorative interior repairs in aircraft cabins using various materials, including fiberglass, plastic, and composites. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions to select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware used for installation and repair.
  • Understand proper cleaning methods, surface preparation, cleaning, and masking for rework.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, interpreting established processes and instructions to troubleshoot and develop solutions to complex non-standard work.
  • Report and resolve job constraints, including errors caused by workmanship, defects in parts, materials, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc., in accordance with Boeing procedures.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1+ years of experience working with decorative finishes in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong technical skills, including file, sand, paint, and cosmetic rework.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
