Job Opportunity

SAIBER LLC is seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join its Florham Park office. This role will provide critical support to attorneys in the litigation and labor and employment practice groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit legal documents, correspondence, and other materials for multiple attorneys
  • Manage attorney time entries, generate pre-bills/bills, and maintain edit sheets
  • Schedule court appearances, hearings, and meetings; maintain calendars and docketing calendars as needed
  • Organize, maintain, scan, and copy legal documents; ensure accurate and timely filing with courts
  • Respond to phone calls and emails as necessary
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and documents for delivery
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and American Express charges
  • Provide backup coverage for reception and office clerks as needed

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Strong understanding of legal documents, court procedures, and terminology; familiarity with e-filing systems
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, including editing, tracking changes, and creating mailings
  3. Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
  4. Proficiency in Adobe for Bates stamping, converting, and redacting documents
  5. Familiarity with time entry systems, such as SurePoint
  6. Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  7. Able to work effectively as a team with attorneys and colleagues
  8. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  9. Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  10. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
  11. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed
