Visual Inspector

Johanson Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled Visual Inspector to join our team at our Camarillo facility. As a Visual Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components.

• Conduct visual inspections of parts under a microscope to identify defects and remove non-conforming products.
• Pack products using a microscope, tweezers, and gloves.
• Support the Dicing Department with release tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Perform housekeeping chores as assigned.
• Participate in cross-training for other jobs to ensure flexibility and adaptability.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months of experience with microscopes.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as a visual inspector.
• Experience using tweezers to inspect small parts.

• Use of microscope for visual inspection up to 75% of shift.
• Standing/Walking up to 25% of shift; Sitting up to 75%.
• Twisting of neck and waist up to 25% shift.
• Stoop and bend, reaching above shoulder, and simple hand grasping up to 90% of shift.
• Fine hand manipulation up to 90% of shift.
• Lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 5 lbs. for 50% of shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Must understand and follow clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
• Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet qualitative production standards.
• Interact with coworkers to complete tasks.
• Perform assigned tasks with integrity and professionalism.
