Job Overview

Position Summary

Cribs 2 Crayons Child Care is seeking a dedicated and qualified lead floater to assist with staff lunch breaks and provide classroom coverage. As a private, family-owned, play-based childcare center, we prioritize a nurturing environment for young children. The minimum working hours are from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting teachers in the daily management, supervision, and safety of all children in our care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the implementation of curriculum and lesson plans
  • Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Feeding and diapering children, as well as providing bathroom assistance
  • Completing necessary paperwork and ensuring compliance with child-to-staff ratios

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, and successfully pass local, state, and federal background checks, including a sex offender registry check. Reliable transportation is essential. As an Early Head Start facility, educational requirements will be discussed during the interview process. If the candidate does not already meet these educational requirements, Cribs 2 Crayons is willing to cover the costs for obtaining the necessary qualifications.
