Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Library Aide to join our team at the City of Lubbock. As a key member of our library staff, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, processing returned materials, and maintaining our library shelves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to library patrons
  • Empty book drops and process returned materials
  • Assist at the circulation desk and maintain shelves
  • Perform related duties as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Knowledge of library organization and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, and you will be required to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. You will be expected to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull objects to shelve materials.
