Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinating care delivery to ensure that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice. This includes following physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care
  • Coordinate care delivery to ensure residents' needs are met
  • Follow physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Supervise caregivers and ensure they are providing high-quality care
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including dementia population, preferred
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
