About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Maximus. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a critical role in supporting the IL SALT program by conducting in-person assessments to determine needs for services and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-person assessments to determine an individual's needs for services and support, eligibility, level of care, or related outcome.
  • Perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards, HIPAA guidelines, and company confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Travel may be required based on program contract requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and licensure requirements are based on program contract requirements and are outlined in the job posting.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
  • LPN, RN, LCSW, or related licensure may be required based on contract requirements.
  • Masters Degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in mental health, social services, or related field required.
  • Highly skilled using Microsoft Office required.
  • Ability to provide close attention to detail required.
  • Must be able to work independently, managing tasks without supervision and getting them completed in a timely manner required.
  • Ability to travel on a daily basis to conduct in-person assessments.
  • Flexibility - able to handle last-minute schedule changes.
Preferred Skills
  • Social worker, psychologist, or therapist background.
  • Knowledge of SMHRF Assessments.
Home Office Requirements
  • Maximus provides company-issued computer equipment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet service.
  • Minimum 20 Mbps download speeds/50 Mbps for shared internet connectivity.
  • Minimum 5 Mbps upload speeds.
  • Private and secure workspace.
