POSITION SUMMARY: The Subway Sandwich Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Subway Manager and Shift Leaders by delivering high-quality products to customers while fostering a positive work atmosphere. This position requires close collaboration with the Subway Manager, Shift Leader, and patrons.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist the Subway Manager and Shift Leaders in daily operations.
2. Ensure compliance with Trexcon policies and procedures.
3. Communicate effectively with all team members.
4. Adapt to changes efficiently and manage additional tasks as required.
5. Support Trexcon's mission statement.
6. Provide prompt and friendly customer service.
7. Engage with customers in a professional manner.
8. Follow all product preparation guidelines.
9. Adhere to proper methods for storing, proofing, and baking bread.
10. Prepare backup products using the appropriate equipment.
11. Operate all machinery in accordance with manufacturer and Subway standards.
12. Conduct daily inventory counts accurately using designated forms.
13. Comply with all health and safety regulations regarding food handling.
14. Practice proper hand hygiene.
15. Utilize gloves correctly.
16. Maintain food products within safe temperature ranges.
17. Store all food items according to their type.
18. Label opened and prepared food items with dates and times.
19. Regularly assess products to discard expired items.
20. Record and monitor product temperatures on designated logs at least once per shift.
21. Implement corrective measures for items within the temperature danger zone.
22. Receive deliveries from approved suppliers and verify all items against invoices.
23. Follow uniform guidelines consistently.
24. Manage and track all product inventory effectively.
25. Assemble orders for customers as requested.
26. Process monetary transactions accurately at the register.
27. Utilize the time clock properly to log work hours.
28. Complete necessary shift documentation.
29. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors.
30. Ensure restrooms are kept clean.
31. Participate in store meetings.
32. Dispose of trash in and around the store.
33. Keep sidewalks and parking areas tidy.
34. Make necessary food adjustments.
35. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Subway Manager or Shift Leader.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Prolonged periods of standing are required.
2. Physical effort is needed to lift, carry, push, or pull items over 10 lbs.
3. Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing may be necessary.
