Certification Requirements
  • Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist License: Must hold a valid license as a radiographer.
  • ARRT Certification: A current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
  • BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification must be up to date.
Position Overview
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a radiologic technologist is essential.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Must demonstrate expertise in operating radiographic equipment.
  • Independent Functioning: Ability to work autonomously without supervision.
  • Radiation Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with radiation safety protocols is required.
  • Dosimeter Badge: Must possess a dosimeter badge for monitoring radiation exposure.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR is advantageous.
Job Specifications
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum of two (2) years as a radiologic technologist.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment is necessary.
  • Radiation Safety: Knowledge of safety protocols is mandatory.
  • Dosimeter Badge: A dosimeter badge is required.
Work Schedule
  • Shifts: Varied shifts including Day and Evening.
  • On-Call Duties: Average of three days of on-call duty per month.
  • Hours: No guarantee of hours is provided.
  • Time Off: No guarantee of time requested off.
