Job Title: Registered Nurse

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is a leading correctional healthcare provider seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to inmates in a correctional facility. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide medical services, conduct assessments, and develop care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions to develop effective care plans.
  • Provide leadership to nursing staff and paraprofessionals in patient care, ensuring high-quality medical services.
  • Monitor and review medication administration, maintaining accurate records and charts.
  • Utilize therapeutic communication skills to elicit historical information and make referrals as needed.
  • Implement professional nursing services in accordance with standards, rules, protocols, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current, valid State Registered Nursing License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree required; Bachelors' Degree preferred).
  • Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional nursing experience a plus.
