Responsibilities- Provide mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Conduct regular patient assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland.
- Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate.
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months' experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting.
