About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Instructor to join our team at Taste Buds Kitchen in Bannockburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging cooking classes, workshops, and events to clients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct cooking classes and workshops with excellent client service, following provided event guides and recipes.
  • Teach clients in an informative yet approachable manner, promoting a fun and interactive learning environment.
  • Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guests, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional kitchen operations, food, nutrition, or culinary experience, or a teaching background with proven passion and knowledge about cooking and baking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident speaking in front of groups with an amplified voice, and proficient in a broad range of cooking and baking techniques.
  • CPR/first aid certified or willing to obtain certification, and able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer competitive hourly pay plus earned gratuity, flexible scheduling, and guaranteed 35 hours per week, maximum 40 hours. You will also receive one day off per week, and have access to employee discounts and a fun, supportive work environment.
