Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. in Naperville, IL.

Job Summary

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, performing calculations, and ensuring project completeness and accuracy within the allocated period and monetary budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems according to code and IMEG standards
  • Research commercially available equipment
  • Assist with client relations, project design notebook, and documentation
  • Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines
  • Document design decisions, meetings, and instructions from clients
  • Review project documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and issue addendum information
  • Review design methods, procedures, and client correspondence
  • Conduct job site observations and other services as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Science) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
  • Knowledge of physical principles and applications
  • Skills in Microsoft Office programs, CAD software, and BIM
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Routine local travel with occasional overnight stays
