We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, providing comprehensive evaluations and goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and swallowing potential.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, you will participate in monitoring the quality of services provided by the Rehab Therapy Department, participate in peer review for staff performance and appraisals, and assist in the development of the SLP role in programs and services.

You will also be responsible for maintaining an adequate stock of supplies, exhibiting willingness to share professional knowledge and experience, and alerting the Manager to educational needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each patient feels informed and understood, as well as heard.

You will also need to demonstrate passion for providing superior quality care, be an inventive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, and possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Minimum requirements include graduation from a program satisfying the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association's academic and practicum requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), a valid license issued by the State in which you are practicing, and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience.
