Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Telemetry Nurse to work in The Dalles, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience as a Telemetry nurse and a current state-specific RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor, interpret, and record cardiac EKG strips.
  • Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  • Answer questions and educate patients and families on lifestyle changes, home care protocols, and ongoing treatments.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and alert appropriate team members.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Telemetry nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
