Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach Plumbing Technology related course work at San Jacinto College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments that align with the College's curriculum standards.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve student learning outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years' full-time work experience in the residential and/or commercial plumbing industry.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related technology and 3 years full-time work experience in the residential and/or commercial plumbing industry.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
Working Conditions

Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
