CrossMed is seeking a skilled CVICU Travel Nurse RN to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in CVICU or a related field
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
