Job Summary

Under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, evaluates and treats patients with motor and neurological disorders. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to enhance patient independence and productivity.

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to establish patient therapy goals and documents patient treatments, initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with established departmental and service line policies and protocols.

Assists in the implementation of programs and services to foster an interdisciplinary approach and a service line system of care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Michigan
  • Initial certification or eligibility for certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Job Type: Full-time
