Job Summary

The Grants Accounting Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing grant financials, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting in compliance with grant requirements. This role requires a strong working knowledge of grant regulations and a minimum of 2 years of experience in grants management, preferably in a nonprofit organization setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for major grants, including all supporting documents for audits, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Prepare and submit timely reimbursement requests to support expenditures and ensure accurate capture of expenses.
  • Collaborate with accounting staff, payroll services staff, and operational areas to develop efficient tracking tools and systems.
  • Participate in the development of spreadsheets, correspondence, and research to support grant management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of grant regulations and a minimum of 2 years of experience in grants management.
  • Strong cross-cultural skills and the ability to work collaboratively with partners in other countries.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative, and English writing skills.
  • Computer literate, including operating skills necessary for development and preparation of spreadsheets, correspondence, and research.
