Position: ION Developer / Subject Matter Expert
Location: Onsite in Weehawken, NJ
Contract Duration: 6 months+
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Over 12 years of experience in the field of Information Technology.
- Expertise in the ION core platform, including AQ and NegLib.
- In-depth knowledge of ION MMI at a Subject Matter Expert level.
- A solid grasp of bond pricing mechanisms utilizing PXE, along with a comprehensive understanding of Rates, Credit Bonds, and derivatives.
- A detailed awareness of trading platforms such as Bloomberg and TradeWeb.
- Ideally, 2 years of experience integrating ION with Kafka.
- Proficiency in Unix and SQL.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Python, Perl, and other scripting languages is a plus.
- Strong background in Java, Scala, and the Spring framework (including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, AOP, IOC, JPA).
- Extensive experience with FIX engines such as QuickFix, CameronFIX, CoralFIX, ION, and Exegy.
