Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Practical Nursing Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a key member of our healthcare education team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and management of students enrolled in our LPN program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate program curriculum in collaboration with peers within the department.
  • Deliver instruction in classroom and clinical settings, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for students.
  • Provide student advising and counseling, ensuring students receive personalized support and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, tracking student achievement and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing standards for admission, progression, and graduation of nursing students, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a registered or advanced practical nurse.
  • An unencumbered active license as a registered nurse in South Carolina or another Compact state.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Nursing with nursing field teaching experience.
