Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
  • Prepare exam rooms for examinations and assist radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
  • Maintain sonography equipment and report any machinery failures
  • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
  • Manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Work under minimal supervision and collaborate with other team members
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS registration in Sonography
  • Completion of an AMA-approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Proficiency in all areas of Ultrasound
  • Two years' experience in diagnostic medical sonography within a hospital setting (preferred)
