We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to support our operations at OI Infusion. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our patients and ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit proficient clinical skills within the Medical Assistant scope.
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of infusion patients, including taking vital signs and managing documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Handle patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and inventory management under the guidance of nursing staff.
- Support nurses in acquiring patient orders, office visit documentation, and laboratory results from external providers.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Certification/Registration (CMA/RMA) either current or anticipated within one year of employment.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar medical environment.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred, or completion of an accredited military medical training program.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and inventory management.
