Key Responsibilities:

  • The SAP IT Consultant will be tasked with designing, developing, and deploying SAP applications and systems utilizing ABAP. This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of SAP ODATA services, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and Core Data Services (CDS) views.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with SAP ODATA services.
  • Expertise in developing and managing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
  • Extensive background in creating and overseeing Core Data Services (CDS) views.
  • Strong grasp of SAP modules and associated business processes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • SAP certification in ABAP or related areas is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with Fiori and SAPUI5 development.
  • Understanding of SAP HANA database functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP Business Workflow.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
  • Analyze and support SAP ODATA services for various applications.
  • Develop and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to enhance database performance.
  • Create and manage Core Data Services (CDS) views to provide advanced data modeling capabilities.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and SAP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards.
