Job Summary

The Center For Discovery is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight LVN/LPN to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with eating disorders. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting residents through their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Therapeutic Groups: Lead and participate in group sessions to promote healing, growth, and self-awareness among residents.
  • Provide Clear and Complete Client Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
  • Availability for Consultation: Be available for consultation after hours and respond to telephone calls and pages within a ten-minute time frame.
  • Administer Medication: Safely and accurately administer prescribed medication to residents as needed.
  • Count Narcotics Daily: Conduct daily counts of narcotics and log the results accordingly.
  • Assess Medical Problems: Identify and assess medical problems as needed, and consult with the physician and psychiatrist to ensure appropriate medical interventions.
  • Perform Primary First Aid: Provide basic first aid and determine the need for physician notification.
  • Meet with Each Client: Conduct daily assessments and administer all prescription medication to residents.

This is a full-time, overnight position working Tuesday, Friday, and Saturdays from 7pm-7am. If you are a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
