Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our emergency medical team, you will provide patient care within the scope of your certification and practice, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing patient care, including vital sign monitoring, oxygen delivery management, and medication administration.
  • Contribute to the assessment and identification of patient needs, working with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide patient education and support, promoting self-care and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including treatment provided and patient responses.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Advanced EMT program.
  • Certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) by the State of Idaho and/or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
  • 1 year of experience as an AEMT preferred.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.
