Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician will play a vital role in our catheterization laboratory, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-quality, efficient care to patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. This position requires a skilled technician who can scrub, monitor, and operate various catheterization equipment while applying prescribed procedures for radiology imaging devices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scrub duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment, including hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Assist physicians in permanent pacemaker implantation and Trans venous pacemaker insertion when applicable, as well as IABP insertion and transport.
  • Collect specimens for POC moderately complex testing and perform such testing.
  • Operate MAC LAB hemodynamic monitoring system.

Requirements

  • RCIS or R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Minimum one to two years of cath lab experience preferred.
