Maternity Services Nurse Supervisor

The Nurse Manager oversees and directs the maternity department to guarantee that exceptional patient care is provided in an efficient and effective manner, adhering to the standards set forth by the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, ANA Standards of Care, and the policies and procedures of Rome Memorial Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all patient care activities and daily operations of the unit.
- Collaboratively work with the Director of Maternal Child Services to set goals and strategic direction that align with the mission of Rome Memorial Hospital.
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with established standards of care.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and possess current Basic Life Support certification. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or progress towards obtaining a BSN is required.
Experience: 2-5 years in a Maternity Department is preferred.
