Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 4K educator to join our team at The Well Preschool. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Responsibilities
  • Implement a well-structured curriculum that meets the diverse needs of children aged 4-5 years old
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and intellectual growth
  • Supervise daily activities and ensure the smooth operation of the classroom
  • Assess and observe children's development, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Establish strong relationships with families, fostering open communication and collaboration
  • Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress and goals
  • Utilize Conscious Discipline techniques to promote positive behaviors and social skills
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting children and equipment, and standing for extended periods
  • Adapt to changes within the program and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registry of Wisconsin certificate or ability to become lead teacher certified
  • DPI licensure in early childhood education
  • 10 hours of training in infant and toddler care (for teachers assigned to this age group)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in the child care field
  • CPR/First Aid Training, SBS Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect Training
  • Bilingual (English Spanish)
  • DPI license in early childhood education or willingness to pursue coursework
