We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Community Health Center of Central Wyoming.
Job Summary:The Dental Hygienist will provide oral health care services in an outpatient clinical setting, performing dental prophylactic services and educating patients on prevention and control of dental disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient screening procedures, including assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, and head and neck inspection.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) and remove calculus and plaque from teeth.
- Apply preventive materials to teeth, such as sealants and fluorides, and teach patients proper oral hygiene strategies.
- Counsel patients on good nutrition and its impact on oral health and make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts.
- Perform documentation and office management activities.
- Current Wyoming License through the Wyoming Board of Dental Examiners (Required)
- Wyoming Public Health Hygienist Expanded Function (Preferred)
- BLS (Required)
