About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team of professionals who work closely together to achieve exceptional project design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed plans and specifications for permit applications, including post-construction stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, land development, and NPDES.
  • Produce designs, calculations, and complete plans, and coordinate with reviewing agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Assist the project director in providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal, design, permitting, and construction phases for athletic facilities.
  • Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
  • Experience and working knowledge of basic design principles for grading, calculation of slopes & grades, and site construction materials and methods.
  • Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Ability to meet project and task deadlines as established by the project director.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of and experience with the municipal land development and NPDES permitting process.
