Job Summary:

The Senior Electronics Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits for residential and commercial circuit protection devices. This role will also involve supporting and developing firmware and software for embedded systems/micro-controllers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic circuits for residential and commercial circuit protection devices.
  • Support and develop firmware and software for embedded systems/micro-controllers.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and emerging technologies globally, with an emphasis on embedded and connected systems.
  • Contribute to domestic and international project teams assigned to research, design, develop, test, and launch new innovations.
  • Participate in product certification activities – UL / CSA.
  • Act as a technical advisor to product line managers and/or manufacturing engineers throughout the New Product Introduction process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar function from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical/electronic engineering design positions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering, computer science, or similar function.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience related to electrical product design/development.
  • Computer knowledge: MS Office, Familiarity with PADS, Altium and CAD tools, C programming language for embedded designs.
