We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Recovery Solutions. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive psychiatric and medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psycho-educational groups and monitor psychotropic medication efficiency and side effects.
- Coordinate with IST Psychiatrist and jail nursing staff for medication ordering and chart reviews.
- Triages basic medical complaints from IST patients and demonstrates thorough knowledge of applicable nursing services and policies.
- Maintains current knowledge through professional development opportunities and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Graduate from an accredited college, university or vocational school nursing program.
- Current nursing license or eligible for same through licensure by endorsement through reciprocity within state of employment.
- Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.

How You Will Make a DifferenceAs a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work closely with jail nursing staff and psychiatrists to ensure continuity of care and provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care through the nursing process. You will also participate in program services, demonstrate knowledge and therapeutic intervention skills, and apply principles of psychiatric rehabilitation based on the understanding of psychiatric mental health disorders and human growth and development.
